Marathon Community Theatre Celebrated Pampered Palms Awards
Marathon, FL (June 16, 2008) — Marathon Community Theatre celebrated the end of yet another outstanding and successful season on June 14 at the theatre with the annual Pampered Palm Awards.
Every person who participated either on-stage or back-stage is honored at the Pampered Palm Awards party. Awards are also given to directors of each production including the Christmas Concert, One Weekend Only fundraiser and the summer reading. Other awards include The President’s Award which was presented by President Fred Hundhammer to Riet Steinmetz for working many hours above and beyond, and the Pampered Palm Award given to one person who participated in some way in at least three of the four main-stage productions during the previous season. There were 14 members who qualified for this award. The 2008 Pampered Palm Award was presented to Mike Edwards.
